Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 Spotted Testing Again

Royal Enfield's upcoming Continental GT 750 has been spotted testing again in India, giving us another look at what could become one of the company's most important performance motorcycles.
The latest camouflaged test motorcycle was spotted in Chennai and features a distinctive half-fairing, clip-on handlebars, bar-end mirrors, twin exhausts and dual front disc brakes.
The faired version could eventually carry the Continental GT-R 750 name, although Royal Enfield has not officially confirmed the production motorcycle's final name yet.
Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 Gets Cafe-Racer Fairing
The most noticeable element on the latest test motorcycle is its front fairing.
Unlike a fully faired sports motorcycle, the bodywork surrounds the circular headlamp and extends partially around the front without covering the entire engine area.
This helps retain the classic cafe-racer character associated with the Continental GT while giving the upcoming motorcycle a sportier appearance.
The prototype also gets low-set clip-on handlebars and bar-end mirrors, further strengthening its cafe-racer positioning.
New 750cc Parallel-Twin Engine
The upcoming Continental GT is expected to use Royal Enfield's new parallel-twin engine with a displacement of around 750cc.
This represents an important step beyond the company's existing 648cc parallel-twin platform used in motorcycles such as the Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650.
