Ather Energy has made its new Konarc electric scooter significantly more affordable for buyers in Delhi. Thanks to the capital's EV incentive, the family-focused electric scooter can effectively start at Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom, including the applicable subsidy).

That's an eye-catching number, particularly when you consider that the Konarc normally starts at Rs 99,999 before city-specific benefits. There is, however, an important detail behind the headline price: the Rs 79,999 figure applies to the entry-level 100 km version once it becomes available and receives the applicable Delhi incentive.
