Prefer Us onGoogle NewsBajaj's big Pulsar update programme now moves to the Pulsar NS160. The updated bike has been spotted testing without any camouflage, revealing a new TFT display, revised switchgear and WP-branded USD front forks.
What's New
WP Front Forks
The current NS160 already uses 37 mm USD forks, but the test bike carries WP branding on the front suspension. Similar WP forks were seen on the updated NS200, so Bajaj is now extending this upgrade to the NS160 too.
TFT Display
The NS160 gets a new rectangular colour TFT screen, similar to the ones on recently updated Pulsars like the N250 SS. It is likely to offer:
- Google Maps mirroring
- Smartphone connectivity with call and message alerts
- Digital document storage
New Switchgear
The handlebar switches are new, with a directional pad on the left to control the display and red switches on the right.
Bajaj has also been adding riding modes, traction control and electronic throttle to some Pulsars. It is not yet confirmed which of these will come to the NS160.
Design Stays the Same
The NS160 keeps its familiar sporty look, including the muscular fuel tank with sharp extensions, split seats, underbelly exhaust and alloy wheels. The test bike was finished in black with red accents.
