2026 Bajaj Pulsar N250 SS Reaches Dealers – 6-Speed Gearbox, Quickshifter, Price Rs 1.60 Lakh

The new top-spec variant brings bigger mechanical changes than expected, led by a 6-speed gearbox and a quickshifter, and is priced at about Rs 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom) as per dealer information.
Pulsar N250 SS Price
Dealers have listed the N250 SS at Rs 1,59,650 (ex-showroom). That is around Rs 15,000 more than the current starting price of the N250 range, which is about Rs 1.45 lakh.
6-Speed Gearbox and Quickshifter
The biggest update is the new 6-speed transmission, replacing the earlier 5-speed unit. Bajaj has also added a quickshifter, which it calls the Sports Shifter, for clutchless upshifts and downshifts. The 249cc oil-cooled single-cylinder engine carries over with a small bump in output to 25 PS and 22 Nm.
New TFT Display and Five Riding Modes
A new 5-inch colour TFT screen replaces the older console. Key functions include:
- Google Maps mirroring
- Digital storage for RC, driving licence and insurance
- Lap timer
- Gear position, fuel level, trip data and side-stand warning
The bike also gets five riding modes: Sport, Road, Rain, Off-road and Tour, along with traction control and dual-channel ABS.
Updated Controls
The switchgear has been reworked, with a directional keypad on the left to operate the display and a dedicated hazard-light switch on the right. Both brake and clutch levers are now adjustable, and a charging port sits below the handlebar.
Design
The overall look stays familiar, with the muscular tank, projector headlamp, sharp DRLs and split seats. The N250 SS stands out with gloss black paint and red graphics, bright red alloy wheels, red grab rails and gold-finished USD forks, similar in style to the Pulsar N160 SS.
Launch
With bikes already at dealerships, the official launch is expected very soon. The 6-speed gearbox, quickshifter and TFT make the N250 SS one of the best-equipped 250cc street bikes in its price range.
