The Brooklands Black Legacy Edition is now the most expensive Gold Star you can buy.

Birmingham Blue

This shade has a glossy navy blue finish on the fuel tank, fenders and side panels. For a stealthy look, the engine, mirrors, wheels and exhaust are finished in matte black. A white stripe on top of the tank adds a sporty touch.

Brooklands Black Legacy Edition

The more premium of the two, this edition combines a gloss black and chrome fuel tank with black side panels and chrome fenders. The engine is finished in brushed aluminium, and gold pinstripes run along the tank and both fenders for a classic British look.

Engine and Mechanicals

There are no mechanical changes. The Gold Star is powered by a 652cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine making 45 PS and 55 Nm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The frame, suspension and wheels are unchanged.

Rivals

The BSA Gold Star competes with retro 650cc bikes like the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Classic 650. Its big single-cylinder engine gives it a distinct thumpy character compared with the twin-cylinder Royal Enfields.
